B) Members will strive to provide information or a referral to other members to enable business growth to occur.
C) It is recognized that business and personal demands can result in a member being unable to attend some meetings. However, members who miss three meetings in a row without either a stand-in or prior notification, will be contacted by the membership committee.

Attending guests who feel they would like to join can attend two meetings prior to being invited to join. London Referral Group is seeking to achieve a balanced membership of differing professions and guests ideally should be active in a field that is not in direct conflict with an existing member as this causes referring difficulties -- but many professions are though recognized as being similar but not in direct conflict and potential applicants are encouraged to ask questions about such issues. Often complimentary professions can assist each other to forward business ideas and leads. Should guests wish to join the group, a completed application accompanied by a cheque which includes one year membership fee of $100.00 + necessary taxes should be presented at the end of the second meeting. This shows the existing members a commitment by the guest to join and participate. The members of the executive will review the application. If the application is accepted the membership committee will contact the applicant and welcome him / her to the London Referral Group. The cheque will then be cashed if the applicant confirms acceptance in writing. The cheque will be returned if the applicant decides not to proceed or the application is rejected.
